It will block viruses, because viruses are hidden in ads there, and not in TSR's site itself. Whatever TSR tells you, and no matter how much time your downloads take there, never download anything there without an ad blocker. You can get viruses from The Sims Resource if you don't have a good ad blocker. Hope this and everyone who worries about TSR :
